Upon earning his AA concentrating in Business Administration, Cameron furthered his career as a student-athlete, spending one year at University of Redlands in Redlands, CA for the 2023-24 season where he earned his Bachelor of Science concentrating in Business Administration. While at Redlands, he was named the team representative for Team IMPACT, a nonprofit that connects children facing serious illnesses with college sports teams, fostering relationships that provide support, mentorship, and a sense of belonging.
Upon concluding his playing career, Cameron began his journey as a business professional in the sports industry, starting with his first internship at Sonoma Raceway as a Marketing & Events Intern. He gained hands-on experience in the coordination of large-scale events, working both the raceway NASCAR and NHRA National Events.
Recently, Cameron has worked as a Marketing Intern with the Sacramento Kings, where he sharpened his digital marketing skills by driving ticket sales and engaging fans through strategic content. His contributions include developing the Kings Insider weekly newsletter and promotional emails, creating the marketing campaign for the Kings’ “No Fees Sale,” which boosted ticket sales during the NBA All-Star Break, and managing the Student Ticket Program, providing affordable access to college students while increasing sign-ups. Cameron also launched the first-ever Student Ticket Program Away Game Watch Party, successfully engaging with local college students.
Cameron yearns for a career in the sports industry, with Dual Wield Sports being his way of making an impact in the sports world, using his experience to help support young athletes grow and succeed.
